It is a promising starting point as time flies by. At the good moment of ringing out the Old Year and ringing in the New Year, I send my regards to all people on behalf of all faculty members in Xintiandi English, Xinsiwen Mathematics and Xinzuowen. Thank you for supporting and understanding us in old days. Wish you to enjoy good health, everything goes well with your work and enjoy family happiness! Happy New Year to all students! Wish you to make progress and grow healthily! I also want to extend greetings to junior three students who are going to graduate this year and senior three students who graduated from our school and will attend college entrance examination! Hope you to achieve success and develop with the higher and newer development platform!

踏着岁月的脚步，我们又一次走到了憧憬希望的起点。在这辞旧迎新的的美好时刻，我谨代表新天地英语、新思维数学、新作文所有教职员工向支持我们工作的家长朋友、社会同仁致以新年的问候！感谢你们在过去的岁月里一直对我们的支持与理解，祝愿你们在新的一年身体健康、工作愉快、家庭幸福！向全体学员致以新春的祝福！祝愿你们在新的一年里学习进步，健康成长！在此，我还要特别向今年即将毕业的初三学生和已经从我校毕业，即将迈入高考考场的高三毕业班的同学们问好！祝愿你们今年学业有成，踏上人生更高更新的发展平台！
Time seems like an eraser of old days, but it never wipes the most innocent smiling face of children. As an educator, we are satisfied with students’ elegance, curiousness, tenaciousness and progress, including your concentrated appearance in the classroom, tenacity and perseverance of after-class reading registration and word accumulation, self-confidence in communication and brilliance. In 2016, all staffs in our school have obtained proud achievement in Medium Test Class through solid teaching research, careful lesson preparation and vivid classroom. More than 40 students ascended to level A with high marks in English and Mathematics. What’s more, more than 100 students had more than 110 scores in English. During the period of the summer vacations, we carried out a scenery English classroom and gave a class in bakery shop and supermarket, so that students could regard English as a tool for communication. Meanwhile, in order to satisfy communicative demands of students, we conducted an activity of “Communication with Foreign Language Teachers” for free, so that students could display their specialty at home. This not only could make students feel foreign customs, but also could make foreign language teachers feel Chinese culture. For 8 years, the school has been implementing the school-running policy that “language study aims at correctitude communication. We value spoke English of students vigorously. Therefore, we have a batch of excellent masters in spoken English, such as Zheng Shiqi, Zhang Tantan, Jiang Shanshan, He Wenqi, Zhang Xinyi, Hu Kaiyao, Zhang Yingzhe, Bai Ruochen, Wang Yishuo and Feng Xujie, etc. In the 8th Spoken English Contest of Yidu Foreign language Schools, our student Wang Feiyang contended for championship and obtained the first prize. What’s more, multiple students including Chen Xianyi obtained the second prize and third prize. In November, we held the large-scale “Practice Test for Students Entering Junior Middle Schools and Report Meeting of students entering junior middle schools. All seats were occupied on the spot. Parents also were deeply attracted by excellent classroom of two teachers. In the end of December, we held a grand award ceremony for one-hundred days’ reading recording and affirmed students who insisted in100 days. Children were happy to walk on the carpet and obtained some god presents, such as iPad, UAV and MiBand, etc.
时间虽是岁月的橡皮擦，但其永远抹不去孩子那最纯真的笑脸，作为教育工作者，最让我们欣慰的还是同学们文雅、好学、顽强、奋进的精神面貌：课堂上你们专注的神情、课后阅读打卡、单词积累的那种韧劲和毅力，生活中与人交流的的自信与光芒，2016年，所有的新天地人通过扎实的教研，认真的备课，生动的课堂，在2016年的中考冲刺班中取得了骄人的成绩，40多人以英语和数学高分跻身A等的行列，更是有100多人英语单科在110分以上，在暑假期间，我们进行了实景英语课堂，将课堂搬进了面包工坊、超市等场所，让孩子们真正将英语作为一种交流沟通的工具，同时，我们为了满足同学们的交流需求，我们还进行了免费的“外教进我家”活动，让孩子们在自己家里就能展示自己的特长，既然孩子感受了异域风情，也让外教感受了中国文化。办学8年来，我校一直贯彻“语言的学习就是为了有礼有节的交际”的办学方针，狠抓学生的口语水平，所以，才在过去的时间里，涌现了让像郑诗琪、张谭坦、江山杉、何文琦、张心怡、胡凯尧、张英哲、白若辰、王伊硕、冯旭杰等等一批优秀的口语高手，也就是在前不久，在第八届宜都市外国语学校口语风采大赛中，我校学员王菲旸一举夺魁，拿下了一等奖，更是有陈先熠等多位同学获得了二等奖和三等奖，在11月，我们举行了一次大型的面向全市六年级学生的“小升初模拟考试”和小升初报告会，会议现场，座无虚席，家长也是被两位老师的精彩课堂深深吸引，12月底我们举行了一次盛大的百日阅读打卡颁奖典礼，对孩子100天的坚持做出了一个肯定，孩子们高兴的走在红毯上，领走了属于他们的iPad,无人机、小米手环等等好礼。
Dear students, as time goes by, it can’t keep young all the times. Youth is the most brilliant flower in life, the most valuable gold period of human, but youth is the most transitory periods. Just like Taiwan Poet—Xi Murong says that “youth is a hasty book”. When you turn it over, it shows that flowers of youth fell down. The great writer of China—Guo Moruo once said that “ nothing is more valuable than youth in the world. However, youth is also easier to vanish gradually. Standing on the 2017, everyone should reflect on such a problem for transient youth that “I should determine my own life.” The poet in the Eastern Jin Dynasty praised that “old days won’t come back. The most important thing is the morning in a day. It must urge locally, because time and energy won’t wait us. We should have such sense of urgency. In reading stage, it is nor than a requirement and also a divine responsibility. Ibsen says that “you must reap what you have sown.” In the New Year, I sincerely hope students may start the brand-new life at the brand-new attitude. In the youth, we should show our grateful heart, a self-discipline attitude, courage for responsibility, and habit of self-examination, accumulate more ability and lighten our future with the good youth.
同学们，光阴易逝，青春难再。青春是人生最灿烂的花季，是人生最宝贵的黄金时期，但青春也是最短暂的时期。正如台湾诗人席慕蓉所说："青春是一本太仓促的书"。你每翻过一页，便预示着青春的花朵又调落了一瓣。中国大文豪郭沫若也曾说过："人世间，比青春再可宝贵的东西实在没有，然而青春也最容易消逝。"站在2017的门槛上，面对稍纵即逝的青春，大家一定要认真思考这样一个问题："我的青春我该怎样做主"。东晋诗人陶渊明曾感叹："盛年不重来，一日难再晨，及时当勉励，岁月不待人"。我们也要有这种紧迫感，在读书的年龄认真读书，这不仅是一种要求，更是一种神圣的责任。易卜生说："青年时种下什么，老年时就收获什么"。新的一年，我真诚地希望同学们以全新的姿态开始全新的生活，在青春的沃土中，播种一颗感恩的心，播种一种律己的态度，播种一份担当的勇气，播种一个自省的习惯。在青春时积蓄更多的能力，让青春的美好照亮我们未来的征程。
Dear teachers and students, 2017 is a new starting point. If everything goes well, we should live through the test of favorable circumstances. If it is filled with difficulties, we should have more courage to be exercised in adverse situation. If it is a high mountain, we should dare to climb it. If it is an ocean, we should plough through. If it is the sky, we should fly freely. Let’s light our life with elegance, sunshine, unity and kindness, let’s cultivate the fertile soil of youth with determination, diligence, pursuit and innovation, let’s taste enjoyment in the ocean of knowledge and let’s compose a heroic song of youth in the great school.
